380 students to graduate during summer commencement

APSU will award degrees to approximately 380 students during its 84th Summer Commencement on Friday, Aug. 9 in the Dunn Center, according to an APSU press release.

Commencement will begin at 2 p.m. Doors will open at 1 p.m. for guests.

According to the press release, an APSU ROTC cadet, Breanna Price, will be commissioned as an officer in the United States Army at the end of the ceremony.

APSU will offer a free live webcast of each commencement ceremony with a link made available on APSU’s website within 24 hours of the ceremony, according to the press release. The free Windows Media Player is required to view the webcast.

According to the press release, the ceremony also will be broadcast live on Charter 99, Clarksville Department of Electricity Lightband 9 and can be heard live on APSU’s radio station, 91.9 WAPX-FM.
