The Foy Fitness and Recreation Center will be closing earlier than usual at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14 due to inclement weather. David Davenport, director of University Recreation sent out an e-mail at 4:23 p.m. announcing the early closing. A staff member of the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center told The All State the center was closing early due to the danger of ice on the roads.
According to Weather.com, the temperature is supposed to drop down to around 29 degrees. The National Weather Service out of Nashville has issued a winter weather advisory for Montgomery County until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15 as of 4:33 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14.
