Contractors are continuing to repair steam lines to the Honors Common and Memorial Health. Crews were scheduled to remove the old pipe and install new pipe to the boiler room last Saturday afternoon.

Weather permitting, the contractor plans to turn steam on by Oct. 23 and start installing the sidewalk by Oct. 25.

Work began to replace the steam lines between the Honors Common and Memorial Health Sep. 30.

The area was then blocked until mid-afternoon Monday. Steam was turned off to the buildings early Monday morning, and temperatures were cooler during the duration of the project.

The project was anticipated, weather permitting, to take approximately three weeks.

Weather permitting, the contractor plans to turn steam on by Oct. 23 and start installing the sidewalk by Oct. 25.

At this time there is no heating capability in Honors Common or Memorial Heath, including the dance studio. Be prepared for cooler indoor temperatures in both buildings.

The entrances to the Red Barn and the ROTC area, between the Honors Common and Memorial Health, are blocked off until the steam line trench is filled and the sidewalks are poured.

An alternative route for the Red Barn, classrooms and the dance studio runs through the ROTC door under the black canopy.

Drane Street entrances are open as usual.
