Basketball fans, get ready to mark your calenders to pack the Dunn Center for the upcoming 2013-14 men’s basketball season.

On Wednesday, July 10, the schedule was released by the APSU Sports Information Department, which features many in-state rivalry games to go along with the Ohio Valley Conference match-ups.

The Govs will open up with a home exhibition game against Central Missouri on Nov. 4 before beginning the regular season at home vs. Oakland City on Nov. 8.

Highlighting the 2013-14 season are contests at Memphis on Nov. 14 and at Vanderbilt on Dec. 17. Other non-conference games between in-state opponents are home/away games against East Tennessee and a home game against Lipscomb.

APSU begins OVC play at home vs. Tennessee-Martin on Jan. 2 to kick off a 16-game stretch against conference opponents. Eight of the 16 games will be played in the Dunn Center.

The farthest distance the team will travel is Mount Pleasant, Mich., to take part in the Central Michigan Tournament on Nov. 21-23.
