Money makes the world go around. Money is not just a currency or a piece of paper. Money is freedom, power and, for some, happiness. Everyone has the desire for money. Even if money is not something you are looking for, it is still necessary because nothing is free. So everyone needs money to survive.

The question is though, how do you attract money? Your ability to attract or detract money depends on your beliefs and views of it. Growing up, your parents might have said the old adage “money is the root of all evil.” I think the lack of money is the root to all evil. If you believe money is this bad thing, then you will not attract money.

This method doesn’t just work for money, it works for everything in your life. If you always look at life negatively, that is how life will appear to you. If you are a positive person, you will see things more positively. Your thoughts control your perception, which then becomes reality.

As Jim Rohn said, “whatever the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve.” In other words, you attract what you want in life.

For example, if you want to have a million dollars, you think about that million dollars. It stays in your mind as you start to generate ways to get the million dollars. Then you begin to work for it; you save and work until you’ve achieved your goal. This is a technique a lot of successful people use.

By using your thoughts and visualizing them, you can attract blessings in your life.  In the book “Countdown to Success” by Chris J. Witting says, “consider that when you look at a physical object, such a chair, your eyes focus an image of that chair onto your retinas, which act like miniature television cameras. Your retinas transit electrical impulses of the image of the chair to the part of your brain called the visual cortex. In the extremely complex area, containing billions of neurons, the data is processed and you recognize the object to be a chair. Finally, this information goes to the complex upper portions of the brain, where the mind analyzes the data so the body can respond it, move it, etc. This amazing process of recognition, thought, decision and response takes only a fraction of a second and its one we use continuously.”

This same process happens when you visualize a goal. Once you’ve begun visualizing, a mental screen begins to take place in your brain. Your brain creates ideas related to that goal, and eventually your brain will find a way to make this goal come true. So, if your goal is to attract money, or have a lot of money, then picture yourself with money.
