Bomb threat call near campus

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Clarksville Police Department responded to a bomb threat call to the Montgomery County Courthouse in downtown Clarksville, less than a mile away from APSU. The threat was made by an anonymous call to 911. The CPD, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Fire and Rescue and EMS were all on stand-by at the scene. The MCSO cleared the call after sweeping the building. This is an ongoing investigation.
