
All APSU campuses will be open and running on a normal schedule Wednesday, May 5. This includes the main campus, Austin Peay at Fort Campbell and classes at the Renaissance Center in Dickson.
Flooding and Exam Information
Finals for Monday and Tuesday have been rescheduled. Click the headline above for more information. If you are unable to attend your final exam, please contact your professor prior to the exam so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Due to flooding conditions and continued wide scale road closures, all Austin Peay State University campuses will be closed Tuesday, May 4. All day and evening classes and events have been canceled. Today’s exams will be rescheduled for later this week.
Emergency update: Flooding
Emergency update: All Students, Faculty and Staff: Emergency housing arrangements have been made for commuting students, faculty and staff who may be stranded on campus as a result of widespread flooding. If you are a commuter in this situation and you are unable to leave campus, please contact APSU Public Safety at (931) 221-7786 for more information. Any commuter students, faculty or staff who are able to leave campus should do so immediately. To the best of our knowledge, at this time, all roads crossing the Cumberland and Red Rivers are closed. For the latest information on road closures, please contact APSU Public Safety or visit the following web link and click on ROAD CLOSURES: http://www.montgomerycountytn.org/county/default.aspx If you are a resident of campus, we ask that you do not travel outside of campus due to traffic conditions and road closures. Important exam rescheduling information: Exams scheduled for Monday, May 3 will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 6. Monday’s 10:30 a.m. exams will held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Monday’s 1:30p.m. exams will held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Exams planned for Tuesday, May 4 are scheduled as follows: 8 a.m. exams will be moved to 4 p.m. All other exams are presently planned to remain on their normal schedule. Expect significant delays when traveling to campus for exams. Please plan accordingly to allow for ample travel time. Later updates: We are constantly assessing changing water and road conditions.
